Celebrating 15 Years Supporting Geelong Families
Celebrating 15 Years Supporting Geelong Families
Is a unique initiative designed to support and educate fathers through childbirth and early parenthood. Our sessions are held in a relaxed pub setting, making it easy for dads to connect, learn and share experiences.
Many dads today are stepping into birth rooms without a roadmap - no stories from their own fathers, no cultural blueprint, and often a deep sense of “I want to do this right, but I don’t know how.” Fortunately, experienced doulas have been bridging that gap for decades, and their wisdom is gold.
Sharing this information with dads to help them become confident, calm, and connected birth partners.
Dads don’t need to be birth experts, but understanding the process helps reduce fear so they can create life long memories of supporting your partner to bring a baby into the family.

Closing of the Bones is a postpartum or closure ritual originating from ancient traditions. It's a ceremony practiced throughout time to honour and support the physical, emotional, & spiritual recovery of a birthing person after childbirth, life transition, rite of passage eg menopause or grief. The ceremony involves wrapping the body with Robozos (scarves) to "Close" the body, symbolizing a state of being held before returning to wholeness, balance & self.
I choose to offer this ceremony in 3 versions.
1. Birth/Loss Story then Closing of the Bones Ceremony using varies sound & healing tools eg oils, drum, song...
2. Birth/Loss Story, A Full Body Massage to reconnect to body then the Ceremony.
3. Is the above options, however is individually tailored to support Midwives & Doulas after supporting difficult births.
